I had a very comfortable stay at the hotel on my route to Switzerland. The rooms were lovely and clean, although a bit basic and small, with an old CRT TV that had poor reception. The breakfast was nice too, but considering the price, it was overshadowed by the room's shortcomings. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay.

The staff were both friendly and helpful, which made up for the room's shortcomings. They even provided a meal for us on Saturday night and were extremely helpful in providing information about bus options to the town and the cheapest tickets to buy. They were all very approachable and informative.

The location was good, but it wasn't as convenient as I expected, as it was across a very busy intersection from the center. It could have been closer to the old town, but the hotel's proximity to the River Mosel, Deutsches Eck, and the old town district made up for it.

The dining experience was above average, with an excellent range of choices available. The breakfast had lots of options and was fresh and tasty, especially the nice quality soft-boiled egg, smoked hams, and crispy croissants.
